Dearest Mirabai, thank you so much for your honesty, your loving open-heartedness…and for not ever shying away from life’s big questions. I am in the process of reading your translation of St Theresa d’Avila’s Interior Castle, which is simply magnificent…and I cannot help but feel that stream of love flowing continuously now, majestically, as Theresa might have said, through the eons.
I believe both contradictory results could play out without the negation of either: that “their spirit merges with the infinite source, like a drop of water returning to the boundless sea from which it came” *AND* that each of our individual Soul spirits continues on infinitely…learning Soul lesson-after-lesson from one lifetime to another.
This is born out with extraordinary clarity and precision in intuitive, evolutionary astrology. Contrary to some spiritual teachings that threaten a ‘return to earthly existence’ if one doesn’t ‘awaken’ in this lifetime…I, also, feel that the Soul decides whether to return or not…and NOT some pre-determinent factor wielded by spiritual authority.
Well-known channelers have consistently stated that, upon crossing-over, we are greeted by a host of those in our Spirit Family, numbering in the thousands. This I believe.
It is helpful to me to apply this post to my situation where my son, who still lives somewhere, cut ties over 10 years ago and has virtually disappeared from the internet.
What a powerful legacy Jenny has left in her life and her passing. Your comment about her now being an ancestor particularly hit my heart. Thank you so much for stirring the echoes within me.
In my own experience, I absolutely believe your four truths. And I too struggled with the concept of "God" for most of my life.
I was brought to believe he was just like my Dad, up there, sitting on a cloud. White, angry, bearded, judging, punishing. I entered the Light 30 years ago in an experience which totally changed the way I saw everything, including God. God is not like man. We have taken this "in his own image" (a man-made concept) without understanding the truth underneath it. WE are all God. We have God's spark within each and every one of us. It is what we do with that spark that matters. We punish ourselves. God loves us so much we have been given freedom to make our own choices and the whole game is to re-align us again to God's plan. And there are so many lessons along the way. Each one individually wrapped up for us to bring out the best in us. At least, that is how I see it. May you continue to shine your Light of understanding to help those who come to you to find Peace. Jenny is alive in you and your heart. ❤️🙏
Thanks for sharing your 'I do and I don't believe in God' perspective. In fact, these seemingly contradictory propositions like 'she has merged with all that is; she is my guardian angel.'
are Spirit's way of keeping us open-minded, and humbled by the mystery.
In our longing for certainty, belonging, and solid structure, it seems we humans have systematised religions with different 'positions' rather than live in mystery and openness to 'the other'.
Love your writing, Mirabai....This: "in shattering our hearts, grief also expands our entire being, including our minds, and makes room for everything." This: "[We do) have a right to hold two seemingly contradictory propositions at the same time: she [your daughter] has merged with all that is; she is my guardian angel."... All contradictions are paths to being whole. Paradox is the most practical map for living I know. Love is inclusive of everything, including death. Irony is an active reciprocity. And we are not diminished, but grow with the energy of the proximate opposites. Blessings to you in your grief for your daughter and in your celebration of her spirit and life in general..... Blessings to the woman who called you. Her infinite loss is a reflection and witness to her infinite love for her partner.

How beautiful Christina! It is a very beautiful text. I am so glad you are reading it.

Beautiful, thank you Martin.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
It is wonderful to have the freedom to believe/experience seemingly contradictory things. Life is too complex for anything else.
I agree wholeheartedly, LeMel. Thank you <3
I so appreciate this post!
Thank you, Phebe!
I am many of my own ancestors. I feel it in my cells. My cells remember lives I lived before.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing.
All except the first work for me…a simultaneous immersion in whatever part of the holy is needed.

Describes my journey of loss perfectly. Thank you, Mirabai.
